Kim Cooper
Senior Vocal Coach

With 20+ years in the industry, including a Top 7 spot on Australian Idol, 15+ years of professional singing, and a decade of teaching, Kim brings unparalleled expertise.
You can often catch Kim singing at gigs around the Geelong and Surf Coast region, where she remains one of the area’s most sought-after vocalists.
Her recent Postgraduate Degree in Vocal Pedagogy at Griffith University deepened her passion for voice and evidence-based techniques.
Combining vast industry experience, advanced training, and genuine care, Kim is a one-of-a-kind vocal coach!
Miss Ez
Vocal Coach/Sing&Shine

Miss Ez is thrilled to be stepping into her role as a singing teacher after being part of the studio as a student with Kim.
With a background in theatre and a special love for acting, Ez has previously directed productions and brought stories to life such as the 12×12’s and Winter Solstice at The Potato Shed.
Ez also brings unique and specialised experience from her previous work in Equine Therapy with kids with special/high needs, where she developed a calm, empathetic approach to teaching and connection.
She’s passionate about creating a fun, comforting space where her little singers can grow in confidence, creativity, and joy.

With 15+ years as a professional singer, a Top 12 spot on Australian Idol, and recently studying a Postgraduate Degree in Vocal Pedagogy, Kim pours the best of her unique expertise and passion for teaching into her students and her teacher training, ensuring the studio is filled with only the very best, evidence-based techniques.
Gentle in Teaching
The Studio of Voice combines this commitment to Excellence In Training with Kim’s strong belief in Gentle Teaching Techniques, which truly brings out the best in each singer. We are very student-led in our approach, so each lesson is tailored to the individual singer's specific needs and goals to ensure they can thrive in their singing journey.
Student Performance Opportunities
Empowering our students with real-world performance experiences to help grow their confidence at their own pace is at the heart of what we do. Each term concludes with “Family Night”, providing students with an opportunity to show what they have been working on during the term and grow their performance skills.
Beyond this, students also can engage in community events throughout the year. Plus, every quarter, our up-and-coming professional singinging students have the chance to practice their gig-ready skills at the our “The Studio Of Voice Presents…” gig opportunity!
